Schoenbrunn Palace, Vienna, Austria

October, 2006

Schoenbrunn Palace is the country home where the Hapsburg rulers spent their summers. (They spent their winters in their city palace, Hofburg palace in the centre of Vienna.) It takes at least 2 days to see it because it's so big, and it takes more time if you want to see the worlds oldest zoo which is on the palace grounds. Our feet were killing us by the time we'd walked around half of the grounds, so we didn't see the zoo.
