Young Austrian baker demonstrating how to make strudel in the old bakery with its red brick ceiling and chandeliers

The old bakehouse, now home to a restaurant and cafe, is where you can see bakers demonstrating how to make Apple Strudel.

Optical illusion of Yves pretending to lift the castle up

Yves does a spot of weightlifting.

Closeup view of creamy white steps leading up to the buttercup yellow palace with a strong blue sky in the background

Steps leading up to the balcony at the back of the palace.

Right side of the buttercup yellow palace with lawn, white pebbled pathways, green hedges cut into different shapes and fountains

The right-hand side of the palace.

Elaborate family dining room with large golden centre pieces topped with fruit and flowers

The family dining room for everyday lunches and dinners. There is another, much larger and more elaborate room for state dinners. Photos weren't allowed, so I shot this one with my mobile phone, pretending to make a phonecall.
