Brussels, Belgium, Easter 2001

Written by Narelle

We went to a la Becasse, the pub we went to (which is where we tried the Kwak).

The botanical gardens in Brussels were being re-constructed when we visited, so there wasn't much to see... however the plans for the new version looked great. I would love to go back there and see it finished.

Inside the Notre Dame de Bruxelles were pelicans. Okay, they were brass and made the base of a glass table.

The Notre Dame de Bruxelles was where Prince Phillip and erm... the PR lady (?) got married. There was an Easter Service on when we went to the cathedral and they had the most amazing choir of about 10 people. We stayed and listened to them for a while before being asked to leave (they don't like tourists in churches I guess *grin*).
