Cahors, France

Today was scorchingly hot (about 35c) and sunny, so Yves and I took our new car for an air-conditioned drive out to Cahors and then on to Saint-Cirq Lapopie. At Cahors we drove through the town and went straight to the once fortified bridge (pictured below). We walked around the gardens and along the river, over the bridge and then did a short hill walk on the other side of the road to get a view of the town.
