Our flat, Toulouse, France
Sunrise — looking out from the bedroom window (May 2006)
The balcony — looking out from the loungeroom (July 2006)
This is our new two bedroom flat in the Toulouse. We're 8 minutes' walk from the subway station and about 2 minutes by subway to the delights of the city centre. We've got a dishwasher (at last!) and a self-cleaning oven. All that's missing is a robot do vacuum the floor...! We're on the 6th floor, and have no vis-a-vis, just great views from both sides and balconies on both sides. Also, it's a balmy 24c inside thanks to the under the floor heating system controlled by the building. We can't turn it up or down unfortunately for the environment... but it's nice to have a warm flat in winter at least!

There's a place to sleep (we had to buy a bed etc and we rennovated this room)
In case we feel the urge to work, there's a spare room which is in serious need of a different floor -- isn't that blue linoleum hideous?
Oooh, two basins in the bathroom! Now we can brush our teeth simultaneously. There's a bath too. Just add bubbles.
Lovely new kitchen!

View from the loungeroom
We can watch the sunset from our balcony.
Summer is just about here.
The lounge/dining room with a bit more stuff in it
The bar, with a keg! Who wants a beer?
The kitchen has cupboards and all. We stocked them with Vegemite.
