Valentines' Day
Tournefeuille, France 2009
We had plans for Valentines' Day, but then we woke up to find a beautifully sunny day and completely changed our plans! We had a BBQ on both Saturday and Sunday -- and on Sunday we went shopping at the markets first. These photos were taken on the Sunday.

Verrine of organic prawns in homemade guacamolé (mashed avocado, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp paprika, a squeeze of lemon & a pinch of salt).

For lunch we had barbecued duck breast, roast potatoes with garlic and parsley and a garden salad.
Table for two in the sun.
Charlie ate with us. We treated him to a prawn, a little tiny piece of paté with foie gras and some raw duck.
He loved it and ate every last bit!
For dessert we had barbecued pineapple and vanilla icecream. Yummy!
