Tabouleh
A lebanese dish, very popular all over the world, comprised mostly of parsely.
- Ingredients
- 2 cups of cous cous grains
- 2 cups of boiling water
- pinch of salt
- 1 large bunch of coarsely chopped parsley
- 1 medium-sized red onion (diced)
- 1 cup of red cherry tomatoes (diced)
- a handful of pine nuts (crushed)
- juice of 1/2 a lemon
- a few glugs of olive oil
- Method
- In a bowl, add cous cous grains followed by boiling water and a pinch of salt.
- Stir with a fork for about 2 minutes, until the water evaporates and the cous cous grains are cooked.
- Add all ingredients (well-chopped) and mix with your fork.
- Chill Tabouleh in the fridge for at least an hour.
- Serve with whatever you want or eat it by itself for a healthy snack.
