England -- it's "just down the road" from Scotland, yet we'd been living in Edinburgh for nearly four years (2004) before we began to explore it. Fortunately though, one day we decided to take advantage of Ryanair's free flights promotion and booked ourselves on a 3-day trip to London from the 17th-19th of January 2004. We had so much fun that we went back again in June 2005 and will try to go back at least once a year as long as we're in Europe.
