Day 2, Sandwood Bay (Part 3)
After a long day in the sun, we were hot, sweaty and sunburnt but decided that the best way to end such a perfect day was to have a BBQ on the beach for our dinner. We found a convenience store in Kinlochbervie and bought steak, salad and wine and headed off to Oldshoremore Beach with our Barbipot (the one we bought from Fletcher's -- our Venison supplier at the Edinburgh Farmer's Market). At the turn-off to the beach carpark, we got stuck in traffic. About 60 sheep were charging up the hill, bleating noisily and taking up the entire road. We grabbed the camera and took a video recording of them. We couldn't believe how lucky we were to be there at that exact time.
